PCMDC’s Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration!

Get ready to kick off the Cinco de Mayo festivities at the Pigeon Community Multicultural Development Center’s (PCMDC) annual fiesta! The event will take place on Friday, May 3, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at PCMCDC, located at 450 Pigeon Street, Waynesville.

Join us for an evening filled with vibrant music, delicious food, and exciting activities. This outdoor celebration promises to be a memorable experience for all attendees. Highlights of the event include:

  • Live Music: Dance the night away to the beats of the talented DJ Avenger spinning Latin tunes throughout the evening.

  • Raffle Prize: Purchase a $10 ticket for entry, which automatically enters you into a raffle to win a group of gift certificates to local Mexican restaurants in Haywood County. Don’t miss your chance to indulge in the flavors of authentic cuisine!

  • Tantalizing Food and Drinks: Indulge in mouthwatering tacos, Mexican Street corn, churros, and other delectable treats for sale at the event.

  • Quench your thirst with refreshing margaritas and ice-cold beer also available for purchase, exclusively for guests aged 21 and up.

  • Entertainment: Capture fun memories with friends at the photo booth, outdoor games, and enjoy the lively atmosphere of this fun gathering.

“We’re super excited to host our second annual Cinco de Mayo fiesta at the PCMCDC,” says Tausha Forney, Program Director. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, celebrate diversity, and enjoy the vibrant culture of our community.”

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at Zeffy, or at the door on the day of the event. Be sure to secure your spot early!!
